Some holiday shoppers think that buying gift cards for people you care about is lazy and shows a lack of effort, but I could not disagree more. I know that for me personally, I enjoy opening a tiny box or a small envelope just as much, if not more that I enjoy the big gifts covered in shiny paper and decorated with bows, ribbon and other accoutrement. It is nice to receive a thoughtful and personal gift that addresses your unique personality or a specific desire, but who says that a gift card or gift certificate cannot meet that criteria. If you know that someone is especially difficult to buy for, or maybe you someone who really enjoys shopping (for themselves and others), then a gift card would be an ideal choice. Unless you are a trained masseuse, the only way to give the gift of Massage Manhattan Beach is with a card or certificate to your local Spa or Massage Parlor.
